kalyana murungai adai
The ingredients used in this recipe are :
2 cup kalyana murungai leaves3 cup rice
1 cup finely chopped onion small onion
1 tsp mustard
1/2 urad dal
4 tsp pepper powder
Salt
Procedure
Step 1 - soak 3 cup rice for 3 to 4 hours
Step 2 - clean the kalyana murungai leaves and tear the leaves into small pieces and remove the veins
Step 3 - now Graine the soaked rice and kalyana murungai leaves
Step 4 - In a kadai add 2 tsp oil, 1 tsp mustard and 1/2 urad dal
Fry till urad dal turns golden brown and add 1 cup finely chopped onion, fry till it turns transparent in color and switch off the flame
Step 5 - transfer the grained batter in a bowl and Add salt as required, 4 tsp pepper powder
and roasted onions, mix the batter
Step 6 - take a portion of the batter and flatten it on a hot tawa. Wet your hand while flattening the adai.
Step 7 - Drizzle oil and cook until both sides are golden.
Step 8 - Serve hot with chutney
